We had a great time at SIGGRAPH and met a ton of inspiring people! Now that we're back from SIGGRAPH I'd like to tell you how to get involved. Currently there's two ways:
Signing up for one of our current projects:Sign up for free on the right! It is as simple as that. Then browse through some of our current projects below and email info at animationmaui.com for more information on joining any particular project. Currently in production are: Nuts for Pizza, a short film of a hungry squirrel and a stoned pizza delivery man; Trans Moose on the Loose, an animated pilot using AnimationMaui's technology; and Arr Wars, pirates meet Star Wars in this epic recreation of the 1977 trailer. Currently we are looking for all positions on various projects. Pitching your own idea (OR) using our system to manage your current project!Simply register on the right and email info at animationmaui.com for some more information. We are able to give you and your team access to your very own project, project manager, wiki and data management system (SVN) through animationmaui. Just contact us directly and we'll work with you. Monday Night Meetings!If you're still a little lost, don't forget about our Monday Night Meetings! We'll be discussing the challenges of producing a short animated film in an online environment. And we hope you'll join us in an open dialogue about the future of online animation production. "Nuts for Pizza" is our proof of concept project. A way for us to develop and test our production pipeline. A process that continues to evolve. Animationmaui.com is open to anyone. Dance Party
Category: Music Video

Synopsis: Here's a really fun idea. Animate a character dancing to the music and we'll light them and composite them onto the dance floor. A perfect excersice to fine tune your animation skills !

Production - Administration.
- Ability to customize the production management module to a specific projects needs.
- Define various levels of user access and control.
- Create tasks by category and assign them to artists.
- Project access can be open to the public or locked down to a specific set of users. Other access levels can be controlled at the group level.
- Production categories can be added or subtracted from a project as needed.
Production - Recent Activity.

Default production module display shows you the tasks that are assigned to you, along with all the recent activity on the project.

Selecting a category will display all the tasks assigned to that category

You can upload assets to your assigned tasks for Director or Supervisor approval.
